Nah, 2-2. WA T still has their head in the clouds and an unrealistic notion of their talent. Not that great Vantucky. Get used to it.

If he's primarily an 04 (even though playing up), then he will age out of the "little DA" (meaning U14 and below), at which point his choices are Timbers Academy U15s or going back to OYSA or RPL play. (Or dropping back on age, but that would be a waste of his time).

That said--if Washington Timbers places six-seven kids on TA next year--congratulations to them! Even though it will reduce the strength of their local squad, having kids move up the pyramid (and TA U15 is the top boys team in the area, don't pretend otherwise) should be seen as a good thing.

Good clubs, of course, develop more talent when their top players move up to the next level.

correction: only 3 Vantucky (goal keep & 2 field players) are practicing with TA once a week

Washington has the best talent, and those kids deserve to go TA. Don't hate on Washington, good program with good kids.

And there is the problem- too many egos and lies from too many different people. If this market would put their personal agendas aside this 05 boys age group could have a very competitive at a high level and a group that is very deep. If you added a few wash timbers, a few FC a few xfire and a few others instead of the friends and family players currently rostered on TA you have a group that would be as good as any Seattle team and would compete with any southern cal teams....

Obvious bias in the system (such as rich fathers helping fund things) need to be weeded out. OTOH, it's often stated here that many talented players from the clubs you mention didn't try out, or declined--if players don't make an attempt to play for team X, it's kind of silly to complain that they're not on team X. Kind of like whining about not winning the lottery when you don't buy a ticket.

Obviously, there are some kids (including a few at WashT) who easily could play on TA, and a few kids who started the year on TA who have washed out of the program already, or know they won't likely be invited back. But this has to be a two-way street. If clubs are badmouthing the program (and a few seem to be harshly critical of it), they shouldn't then complain that their players are being excluded. To quote an infamous review of a bad restaurant--"the food is terrible, and such tiny portions!"

easy to answer this they lie on the game reports even mark down saying kids played who were not even at a game

Can someone help with these boys' initials please. Xfire does not have the player numbers listed on the website.

I bet RF gets zero goals this weekend. (Including the possibility he plays with the 04s).

You do realize that people declined because of BB and the underlying politics. If it was truly ran in an unbiased manner based on talent many would have gladly accepted- that's the difference
