This is one of the worst tournaments we’ve ever attended. Please save yourself the trouble and stay away if they ever do another tournament. The refs are atrocious, the games are 25 minute halves, and they have all the gates locked at the fields except one

Agree! And the substitution rules that if you sub a player out they can not return for the entire game? Crazy. 25 minute halves- warmups are longer than the games.

I get paid either way plus mileage meals etc. free vacation to be honest for 50 min work. I love it it’s a good deal

Never heard of this tournament before but was looking at their socials and the schedules to see who my kid might play if we entered in the future and noticed teams celebrating winning the consolation games with first place medals and signs.

Did the last place team get finalist awards? Did everyone get a trophy?

We participated and thought the competition was good, with close and exciting games. No everyone did not got a trophy it was set up that 25% of the teams got a trophy, however if your playing for a trophy then your missing the experience. So tired of playing the same teams, nice to play teams from far away states and other countries.

That would have been nice. It was billed to us that we would play teams from other states but we played 3 games against local teams we already beat this year. Waste of money and time.

Why do you parents fall for this same thing every year. Your kid is not going pro and is not going to play college soccer. Ecnl for boys bills itself as the college pathway, have any of you looked at college rosters. There full of European academy kids that didn’t sign a pro contract. There are 9 scholarship at the div 1 level per team with rosters of 25. The amount of money generated at all these scam tournaments is mind blowing. Play for your local team travel soccer is bs, for rich people.

Hard truth for most of the parents. Thousands of dollars wasted- Could put those fees in a florida college prepaid fund and have a four year education with loads of money left over.
