Group stage is 6 groups of 4 teams in each group. You play the other 3 teams in your group. Knock out brackets are set based on those standings. Top 8 teams (6 group winners + 2 next best teams) make up the Super Copa Bracket. Teams 9-16 make up the Gold Bracket and teams 17-24 make up the Silver Bracket. Normal knock-out tournament after that. 1st v 8th, 4th v 5th, 3rd v 6th, 2nd v 7th in each bracket. In the knock-out bracket - Win and Advance, lose and you are done. You will play either 1, 2 or 3 games in knock-out depending on how you do on top of the 3 group games.

Shouldn't we be happy that we have local teams in these national tournaments? Let's cheer them on!!!

Union, for example has a minimum of 7-8 teams at their own 2011 age group within a 1 hour drive of them that would beat them in NJ, but they fly all the way to Dallas to lose to teams instead.
They can get participant medals for winning the consolation groups but I wouldn't encourage the "champion" title since they just won matches out of the worst of the tournament. So they can get their 6 matches but they don't win a title, if teams chose not to come because of that then it is really sad...

Super Copa will give all teams a medal because they chuckling and still can't believe u10 teams would fly anywhere to compete in a tournament where no gotsoccer points are awarded.

Group A:
Tough to tell as the Red Bulls and Holmdel are combined summer teams. You never know what you'll get in 1-2 games. It's hard to go against Red Bulls topping this group, but Holmdel could pose a threat.
Group B: NY Soccer Club and Futboltech should be 1 and 2 in the group. Futboltech summer teams hirstorically show well in tournaments. Manhattan and FC Copa Millstone should show well, but may not have enough in a tournement setting.
Final: I see Red Bulls Summer Showcase over Futboltech Summer Select
Holmdel Surf over NYSC
Manhattan over TSF Pre Academy
FC Copa Millstone over JCFC
UEFA European Championship Monore Twp YS over Yardley Makefield/NEFC Tournament team
NEFC was in the top flight but was switched earlier this week.
Libertadores group should be a medal for Jersey Lions Blue.

Can’t believe U10 parents care about Gotsoccer points
Please help me understand why Gotsoccer points points matter? Idiot must be from
A team that only cares about points to market the team for big money grab.
Haters who talk crap on websites about “U” any age are pathetic. Keyboard Cowboys are the same losers who yell at there kid for not playing hard and destroy any
Future in athletics.
Relax and look in the mirror- I guarantee your kid in give or take 3 yrs will be playing fortnite all Weekend. You will most likely be wondering where It all went wrong.. enjoy your kids and stop the madness.
When your Kid read these posts wondering if their loser fathers was the idiot
Hating u10 teams traveling to play the beautiful game against top clubs from around the states. You count your Gotsoccer points that mean nothing.. kinda like your sons skins in fortnite.

Rankings and wins are pointless at this stage. It's all about developing the young players. When coaches purposely avoid competition to get the W and keep parents happy that's a different issue. Parents should be focused on playing time, are their kids getting a chance to learn different positions and does their coach care more about winning or helping the kids improve. Flying across the country to get smashed is a good lesson for the coaches and parents that are in it for the wrong reasons.

Fifa Club World Cup
Bracket A
Day 2 will put a 2-0 Holmdel Surf vs a 2-0 Red Bull RDS in the first game. Winner will move onto the final. Should they tie, Holmdel has the advantage and we earn the finals birth. TSF and JCFC play for their respective places in the consolation matches.
Bracket B
Not as clear cut as Bracket A. 2-0 Manhattan Kickers control their own Destiny vs a tough 1-1 Futboltech team. A win or draw will see Manhattan through to the final. New York SC has the easier match on the day vs an 0-2 FC Copa Millstone team that looks to try and not fall to 0-3 and remain winless in their 2nd consecutive EDP tournament. Things will get complicated if we see 1st game of the day victories for both New York SC and Futboltech. Standings would be at a 3-way tie for 1st with 6 points and places will be determined by the tiebreakers coming from the scores on the day.
UEFA European Championship
Bracket A
Monroe should cruise to a victory over Freehold and finish 3-0. New York SC White appears like they will top Depford and claim 2nd place in this flight.
Bracket B
Yardley Makefield and NEFC battle it out to see who will take on Monroe in this flights final.
NJ premier and STA Mt Olive square off for their spots in the consolation matches.
Copa Libertdores
Jersey Shore BOCA will handle business over FC Copa and see their way into the final. A rematch awaits them vs the winner of TSF White and Jersey Lions.

Copa
Where are all the comments about the Copa results, both Union Teams having very different results. FA Black had a rough go too. Is that the state of the 2011 boys soccer in NJ when stacked against the best teams...
