Clubs that focus on technical skills

What clubs in the ECRL league for girls focus on technical skills as well as passing?? My D is at MFa shore and they don’t touch upon technical skills in practices. It’s all about passing. Which is great but not enough for proper development. Does anyone recommend a club also in ECRL that incorporate technical training in their weekly practices??

MFA shore has technical training as an add on but it’s only 5 sessions for 45 mins each. That’s not enough.

Cedar Stars players tend to over-dribble a ton. Not great soccer overall but really good for on-ball skills development

Should be working on skills on your own time. Trainings are for tactical development

I agree. At the u13 age group, it’s expected that players are doing that work on their own. Our club emphasizes ball mastery at trainings at the 7v7 ages and then moves on to other concepts at the older ages.

How do you work on skills on your own when there's no pressure?

YouTube videos, a wall, and a ball. You don’t need pressure to work on those things.

Go to a wall for an hour a day. There is your free technical session

Ball’s always on foot so it’s second nature.

Nutmeg the dog. Wall pass off mom when she’s cooking.

Learn to love the ball before worrying about pressure

I have to say. You can teach skills on a ball. But you can teach reaction and split second decision making.

The better you are with the ball, the faster you should be able to make a decision.

i see fields full of skill, fields full of kids who don’t anticipate or know how to make smart plays. I do see lots of over dribbling. What does the kid do off the ball? Which is most of the time

Is that really what you consider developing technical skills?
