All clubs believe things work one way. They can always look to push you out but god forbid you get caught evaluating your own options. The ego maniac coaches can't reconcile these simply being two sides of the same coin, so they freak out.

Aren’t most coaches college or HS dropouts?

Yes. It will be the best decision anyone has ever made for youth soccer in NJ.

I wish I knew about and read TS before I signed on with MFS.

We left the 09 team for PDA. The best decision we’ve ever made. Wish we had the last year back.

Limiting playtime, mistreatment, or anything else for not coming back the next year is insane. Spare me the “committment” nonsense. When the player signed up they signed up for the year. I hope to never be in this situation, and the club would handle admirably. However… there’s going to be a lawsuit someday and there should be. If your lawn service stopped showing up in September because you haven’t committed for the next year… would you continue paying them???

Blame the league for creating a structure where this can happen and not doing anything about it. Match Fit does everything within the rules that are set up by ECNL.

Prayers leaving Match Fit in fact only allows them to earn more revenue. For each MF player that leaves, 2 more kids join in the practice and start paying fees. Meanwhile the fees paid by the players are already cashed in. Each player deciding mid or end of season = extra revenue for the club. Pressure on current players? Extra fees for extra practices - or you’re benched.

                        It’s a business model.

Actually they DO NOT do everything within the rules of ECNL. That’s exactly why ECNL stepped in and granted 3 PA girls to transfer mid season and play. DB was not going to let them play and ECNL force the transfer.

Bucci and Tetro care only about money. They don't care about your daughters.

You’re completely missing the point or misrepresenting it. The point is the season is paid for. So, if you’re going to have time stripped because you’re leaving, but have paid, then services are no longer being rendered. The ECNL is not a determining factor on something like this at the end of the day. When people stand up for to this, and it will happen, it will be a massive class action lawsuit.
