Did someone prevent these kids from getting off their asses and working out. You don't need a team to be active.

if this study was correctly perform... perhaps someone should share it with state officials so that playing rules could be adjusted. Note, only 57% of clubs were playing full contact. If you look ONLY at that group what are the numbers of cases?

There was 1 case that was potentially tied to “soccer activity “. All of the others were confirmed from other sources, according to the study.

That was out of 45,000 training sessions and 6,000 games.

It's called inertia. Maybe your kid is super self-motivated, but most kids I know have a hard time exercising just for the sake of exercising. Add some friends and a ball, and motivation soars.

No one in authority who had anything to do with putting all these restrictions in place will ever admit to having possibly made a mistake in judgment. Maybe... MAYBE... they might do something after their election (not even talking presidential election), when their jobs are safe for another term.

27 people in the US died in 2019 from being struck by lightning....should we DEMAND all people stay in their homes if there's a chance of a lightning storm? Just like you said.....if we can save just 1 life it's worth it.....

Do you feel the same way about Mental Health and drug addiction????

I ask because so many have themselves in a uproar over saving that 1 life from COVID, while each day there are MANY lives lost to MH and Drug addiction.

I wish politicians and citizens focused on that versus a virus....
