1. To insinuate that the pyramid of US Club Soccer places NEP before NPL is ridiculous.
2. DPL is not sanctioned by US Club Soccer. It is sanctioned by USSSA.
The USYS League Championship is barely worth mentioning. CCL has some credibility in the South but CCL New England has about the same credibility as MAPLE, NSL and the clowns running it.

Rather than focus on that last, unsavory, sentence maybe people should concentrate on the first two points. If the belief is that NEP is above NPL and that DPL is sanctioned by US Club then there's clearly a lot of people out there who aren't doing their homework. People in MA have been living inside a US Club bubble for years. Time to start educating yourselves on what else is out there. It seems like NEPs days could be numbered.

This is a true statement. US Club magic is wearing off.

2. My bad for not realizing there was yet another sanctioning body, so let's make it 4 pyramids
What is amazing is how some people are so involved in dissecting the different leagues and levels to justify where their kid is playing. Your kid is playing because they love the game. They like their teammates. Maybe they like the coach. By the time these kids finish their club careers, maybe 5 kids from each team will go on to play D1 or D2. Most will end up just playing club in college, and a lot of times, the club has better competition than the varsity. I know several kids in college now who didn't want to play competitive because they were burnt out. The parents pushed to hard. Very talented young lady from class of 2019 had full ride to play at Ithaca....didn't want to play soccer anymore. Of all the 2007 girls in the state, MAYBE 1 or 2 get called up to national team. Stop worrying about what league is best and moving your kid to a different team every year. Ask your kid what they want to do. Certainly look for the best development, but in the end, your kid needs to be happy. These kids aren't going anywhere with this sport.
I will anxiously await the bashing from the ECNL parents who's kid plays 20 mins but she's definitely going D1 and national team call up is coming any day.

So, every boy playing in ECNL at this point is wasting their time and only there to play D3 soccer and because they can't compete in the MLS league and they travel all over the country due to some carrot hanging in front of their face which is a joke.
Dems dah rulez on TS.

Sorry to break the news to you, but that's exactly what I've been hearing on here about the girls' programs so it HAS to be true....
