For many it's not about athletic money but getting into a top academic school. Besides the money on the men's side is a joke. Many will be very disappointed if they were hoping for large athletic grants

I'm sick of all these people talking about the money on the men's side being a joke. Money is money. Anything you can get to lower your bill is alright by me. You piece it together anyway you can. Stop scoffing at it. It is an excuse to pretend that you don't really want it. The idea that it's so little that when I don't get it...no big deal.

Sure- Lower the bill but is his whole childhood about 'getting into a good college?'

By all means let's compare the 8 D1 schools that don't give scholarships to the 400 D3 schools that don't.

I don't know about nationally but in this area, players from top NPL teams with ISL/Prep school credentials have been getting good D1 and top D3 offers consistently

Everyone is supposed to be impressed with nefc? Not great success compared to other clubs.

Please remember that GPS has 22 U18 and U19 teams. That equates to about 400 players.

and they have a web page dedicated to showing their college commitments. NEFC doesn't

This list basically highlights that NPL players need to spend $3k for soccer and $40k per year on high school to get the same thing DA players get for free. Who needs money from college?
