There are about 9-10 schools D1 in New England that can compete with top teams.
Boston College, Northeastern, UConn, Harvard, BU(usually), Dartmouth, Yale, Brown, Providence and Rhode Island.

Holy Cross is bad but never losing to UML. PC loss to Colgate is bad. BC loss to nationally ranked St. John's is not bad. BC is the only NE team that can make any type of run in ncaa's.
