SPS were very poor (albeit without their captain) against a Groton side that's heating up. They may give LA quite a run for their money next week

Last year's play-offs suggest the ISL teams are neck-and-neck if not better than the others, but my eyes tell me that wouldn't hold this year. Except for Lawrence, I don't see the other ISL teams hanging in against the big boys. Obviously, Rivers early season trouncing of South Kent says otherwise, but I don't see that being repeated. There are lots of really good teams out there that aren't even on this list- Andover, Brewster, Wilbraham, KUA.... The ISL teams have padded records as the league has so many weak, mediocre and even good-but-not-great teams this year. That's not to say that the ISL league is weak- except for Govs and St Sebs, most any team could give their opponent a run on any given day if they play their cards right and get some lucky bounces- but I just think that LA or Rivers are at a disadvantage in the NE playoffs because they "should" win most every week in the ISL and they aren't really challenged every week. I see LA having the talent to overcome that if they can keep their composure. But ISL teams seem to care more about the ISL league anyways.

Wednesdays game is going to be filled with in my eyes the two best players in New England.
AK from Lawrence and TD from Rivers

They may be watching 2 players -but one team ,Lawrence has 5 legitimate scoring threats. Could be a long afternoon for the boys from Rivers . I'm seeing a 5-0 score

To much talk about Ak VS Td...both can put the ball in the net. Rivers has the two best defensive Backs in the ISL. Rivers 2 LA 0
