the only thing correct was the scoreline. They did not dominate 90 mins, it was a fairly even game. Govs just couldn't find the back of the net.

It's not just your pure record. It's done on a points system, you get the most points for beating a Class A team thats .500 or above, 5, then for a class A team that isn't, 3, then for a non-A team, 2, and for a tie against anyone, 1. BBN won't make it, BH beating St. marks was their last hope because that would push BH to .500.

Before you go fixing the crown - take a look at stats last year of TD when Rivers had a more balanced attack and he wasn't being asked to do as much.

So which are the ISL Class A teams?

I have seen both players play plenty of times. I feel AK seems to be the better player but then again he just simply doesn't impact the game to the same extent TD does. TD (aside from the Milton game) has scored at least one goal (SG game he had no goals, but an assist). I'm not sure if TD is overall the better player, but he has clearly had the better season by far. I know AK had an injury(s?), but sadly thats apart of the game. Simple fact is: TD has had a better year than AK. Regardless, both players are phenomenal, and in the end they are very comparable.

A game to keep and eye on this weekend. Groton travels to St. Marks to spoil the Lion's chances of a playoff spot. Groton has nothing to lose and will look to bounce back after a tough game against Lawrence.

Class is determined by the number of male or female students enrolled in the school. The class A schools in the ISL are:

                Milton
                BBN
                Belmont Hill
                St Pauls
                St. Sebs

Ironically both AK and TD have contributed to the exact same number of goals when you add assists and goals 27. They are clearly the only two players worthy of consideration POY consideration. The league title may be the tie breaker.

AK is surrounded with great talent attacking with him. Including a couple of academy players. TD is scoring in bunches for his team and has proved everyone wrong this year. That kid can play. AK is just as good don't get me wrong but the MVP goes to TD for carrying the offensive load for Rivers

AK is obviously a better player, but TD deserves the MVP this year.

Agreed. Given the injuries Rivers has/is encountering TD's productivity is very impressive. So the fact that with some players around him who aren't truly starters and he is scoring more and more goals...that says something.

Rivers vs LA sure would be an exciting NEPSAC Class B championship game! Look forward to the next week and a half.

Are rumors of AK out with concussion true?

Gov's 1 shot on target and two off target would lead one to disagree with you

I thought St Marks were going to be a challenger this year?
