    Welcome back Mr. O. I can see you've re-engaged on talking-soccer.

No sarcasm intended because I don't know these players: What's special about these 5 players? Any championships/accolades on their resumes--from club (or high school, I guess)?

Didn't the NEFC players among them win a R1PL title and didn't the Blazers team win State Cup in an upset a while back?

I wrote the original post about the Brandeis "haul." Actually thought there were 6 but I see one name repeated. Definitely not Mr. O. I've seen the older kid play but not the younger one. Only seen one of the others. I have no idea how good they all are. I merely was noticing the high number listed compared to the other schools. And I do know Brandeis was one of the very best teams in D3 in this area last year, playing a very tight game against Williams in the NCAA round of 16.

Just because a school lists having 5 players from Mass. as incoming players doesn't mean it's a "haul." What have they achieved individually or collectively that makes them, as a recruiting class, strong?

You may be right. We'll see. Those are just their recruits from MA. Two kids played at Worcester Academy. Usually that means PG kids who were good enough for that to make sense. Another was All-New England. We'll know soon enough.

If it wasn't for Northeastern and Holy Cross (both are Bolts coaches), the Bolts would not look as good.

Good observation. Do you think these boys did not have other options? Or was this just an easy/path of least resistance option? Or something else?

Let's nominate this quote for one of the most stupid of the year.

.... and after that Brown, Harvard, Louisville, Providence, and UNH have Bolts listed as well. Bolts are clearly the best ticket to D1 slots for kids. It hasn't escaped the attention of many that you will often be coached by a D1 coach at Bolts. Eagles and Blazers have their angle too.

providence and brown were also bolts coaches and the UNH players was going to michigan to a bolts coach. It will be interesting to see if NE players get time.
