makes sense for Staples to play them on grass, st js never plays on grass and it had the intended consequence-it slowed them down and their passes werent there
. its not an excuse its a fact grass plays different than turf does. home field advantage
nothing wrong or underhanded about it and staples isnt alone in using it,Warde does it as well.
doesnt matter now anyway,all the games stjs will play in the fciacs and states will be on turf

No excuse. Stj flat out lost. They choked. With the pressure on them, they lost. Lost the undefeated season, lost the number one seed. If they would have beaten darien last Friday, the game would not have been important and they would have locked up the first seed. So maybe they choked last Friday too. Jack says his team is right where they want to be, but facts are facts. 0-1-1 in last two games, scoring one goal a game on average. That’s where he wants to be?

You don't lost by that kind of margin because of your keeper. You lose because your field players can't stop attacks.

St joes has a roster filled with club players. They don’t have the depth to play multiple games in a week? That is called high school soccer. Every team does the same, every year. How long has jack been a high school coach? Maybe he thought this was his club team. Overuse the best players and you have a week before the next game for them to recover. In high school, you need to use the bench. Need to get players rest to keep them healthy and fresh. Maybe that is why the majority of these club coaches don’t do well coaching high school

Find me another team who played that many games in that short a time- just the way it played out for them- what club coaches don’t do better than the gym teacher coach?

I knew jack would have an excuse....the grass field! So funny, us women sued because us soccer made them play on turf and men Played on grass in the World Cup. Now jack is upset girls play on grass

I have no dog in this fight whatsoever, but please tell me that you know that the “grass” played on by professional and international teams is vastly different than grass fields in HS and youth sports.

ECNL regularly plays 4 games in 8 days, one extra game in that span is not a huge deal. Stop making excuses.
