Anybody know what Oakwood plans to do now that NYCFC is officially out? NEFC rumored to be going the same way? The only way this works is if USSF combines them with the Atlantic division and have your players traveling from Empire to Arlington

FSA and CFC should quit being petty and bring on OW to ECNL. Then they could all inhabit the 6,7 & 8 spots in the rankings (in no particular order).

Maybe CFC & FSA will take some GDA OW players and move up a spot or two and be slightly more competitive in ECNL.

OW will continue to build the strongest GDA program in the region. We're probably too far for many of the players left stranded by the NYCFC decision, but stronger GDA players who can make it are welcome. And, of course, we'll continue to draw the cream of the crop from ECNL, but only the top players, obviously.

FSA already has picked up a few and more and more OW GDA players are showing up at practices. GDA died last spring, those late to make the jump wont be happy.

Here’s a life lesson for you. Sometimes you need to look out for yourself. In that case it would apply to looking out for your kid. OW is going to keep kids there until the bitter end.

It’s like your company going out of business. Do you want to wait and find a job with 11 unemployed coworkers or make a move on your own?

Don’t let your kid go down with the ship. This has been the fate of this thing all along.

A move they will regret later this spring when they can't find homes. Do you really think a year-ish of mediocre GDA play with the same OW coaches as before has transformed them into markedly better players?
