I know a lot of college coaches that scout u19 games.

Bro....if your kid is too old to play u18 in hs, then she was left back because she is not that bright or you redshirted her so she would have a physical advantage vs her peers in school year based leagues.

If she didn’t get recruited all ready, then the later didn’t work. If it is the prior, then she should just find a guy with some good prospects....go get the MRS degree.

Poor kids haven't won a game yet. Never seen a team impacted so much by selfish play, unhelpful parents and years of half ***** coaching and coaching turnover. Age change didn't help either. Even MN can't turn it around. Team should of been shaken up years ago but too late now.

Definition of insanity. Doing the same thing over and over. Kids are snakebitten.

Now the 17s are heading down the same path.

Wow that went off the rails unnecessarily. Poster said nothing about recruiting, you're making presumptions about kids you know nothing about (many fall birthday kids wait an extra year in CT and it has nothing to do with their academic ability when they're 5) and U19 teams often have spillover from other age groups/not all are seniors.

Not all those players are on the U19 squad (they're on U18) but yes the 03s especially have been a problem team for years. They've never been able to turn that group around. U19s probably has several seniors that have given up now that reality has set in

This conference is crazy competitive. I would not write them off just yet.

They are all getting ready to leave fir college in a few months. Let it go. This group has been an issue for awhile. Team was missing to many pieces and CFC stayed loyal and didn’t break the team up like they should of years ago. Every other teams adds talent but not this one.

After this team was formed into United the club got a lot better about taking outside players and not relying so heavily on Arsenal or whatever that branch is called now. Lesson learned.

Give it a rest. The girls are good kids and have been through a lot. This isn’t a talented team and has very few D1 players, unlike every other United ECNL age group before them. I think the club, the parents and the players just want to move on and get a fresh start in college. The commit list is mostly D3 and a few low level D1 and they are competing against top clubs in ECNL in that division

What schools did your daughter get recruited from?

Spot on with your assessment. Nothing to do with poor coaching, bad attitudes or selfish play. It is simply a below average team talent wise competing against tough competition.

not the poster and yes some years are just weaker years in terms of talent, but they've had several years to try and recruit some better players and not much has changed

Who are you proposing they recruit? It’s not a good year in CT in general. Oakwood’s kids are poor and their commitment list is terrible
