It’s a business and the clubs in it have invested heavily to be there. There are plenty of poor clubs in the ECNL across the country and plenty of strong ones. They can all all field multiple teams per age group and very few clubs can.
Youth soccer is a challenging business at times and more than having a random decent team of 13 year olds. Bottom line is that no one in CT has the ability to take on the ECNL badge and form multiple teams per aged (boys and girls) and have a place to train them indoor and outdoor and play games.
