PBG best girls club in PB county

On average, only 1-2 players on top tier teams will go to large DI schools and get meaningful minutes. If the rest end up at one of theses schools, they won’t play. Knew a kid years ago that went to Duke and got on the team. Didn’t get a single minute in 4 years.

Step 1 in recruiting is being realistic where you can play. 95% of parents fail this test. Just ask parents and you’ll be shocked how many say UNC is on their list. If UNC doesn’t have you on their list to watch as a HS sophomore, you have a better chance winning the lottery than going to UNC.

Not trying to be negative, but don’t waste time being unrealistic. And, if a Club coach can’t be straight about this, they fail the recruiting test also.

The problem with TB parents is they don’t understand the landscape. They are the best team hands down, but guess what you won’t be able to play the level of teams to improve consistently. Simple logic folks. Play against better teams consistently and you get better. Playing low level Florida teams and trying to chase a couple out of state ECNL teams is not the answer. The team should all just go to Prime as best option and then PBG or Weston to play GA. The national team and the best schools recruit exclusively not FSPL and Sunshine conference. Your daughter could be progressing but you stay because Mario tells you it’s the best thing.

Yes. It’s a third tier league. Like NPL ! But PBG has these parents hook line and sinker. AG and SB all about winning trophies for the club. Not 1 of those 02/03 girls have committed to any top tier school.. and yes , we all know schools like Fau, Stetson, Florida southern ,ect are D1 .. But they are mediocre at best for soccer programs and are academically weak! The only game in town is Prime, Westin or Boca. The numbers and commitments don’t lie! Glad they did well in CA. But seems like a big waste of time and money at this point!
