This is against the same exact teams

    Future is bright in Farmington
I have no dog in this fight but I will throw my 2 cents in.
    This is the girls side
CFC sells itself as being better for getting girls recruited
FSA loose their top players to CFC at u-13 & U-14 because of this
FSA is perceived as not doing enough to help with recruiting
If FSA changes this perception they will keep their top players they developed
That will make them more competitive / better then CFC
This is what happens on the boys side
Since no money on boys side, recruiting is not a big deal
Top players stay at FSA on boys side
Never seen a top boy leave for CFC
Seen plenty of top girls leave for CFC
I have even known multiple families with boys at FSA & Girls at CFC.
This is the difference. A perception.

The difference is WAY MORE than a perception. Have you watched the FSA girls play? Do you know the game? The FSA girls are never taught how to play the game. That’s the difference. They get decent athletes, but then never develop them. It’s truly the coaching. I’ve even heard a D1 college coach say he’d never even look at an FSA player because the soccer is so bad. That’s not perception. That is reality.

Did you hear that from the cheating CFC coach?

They can't get players recruited if the players aren't very good. In reality a club does very little in the recruiting process. At a minimum they should guide players to appropriate programs but some don't do that very well. It's the players that contact coaches, selling themselves with their resumes and video. A college coach makes decisions based on what they see of the field. A postive call from a club coach can help seal the deal but that's about it. Clubs develop reputations, especially regionally, and FSA's is not good.

That is so not true. Many college coaches in the lower ranks take players based on their sleeve patches. Plenty of players that suck get a little money to play and are ecstatic .... then never see the field, transfer, or quit after a year or two because they then realize they are in way over their heads ... not the local town-based ECNL team anymore.

Lower level coaches have plenty of places to shop - ECLR, GAL, EDP or other alphabet soup leagues, along with bench warming ECNL players. A coach that takes players based on where they play and not skills? They won't be a coach for very long. Practice cones don't get money to play

Most schools dont care about womens soccer (or mens soccer for that matter). Plenty of bad and lazy coaches with horrific records that have been employed for years.

Both FSA and CFC teams lost their games vs EDP teams this past weekend at the FSA tournament. Some of the ECNL teams got overplayed.

No ECNL teams entered in the FSA tournament as they went to national event the previous weekend. Just because your travel team beat up on a FSA third team or CFC Branch does not mean you played either clubs top teams, not trying to say that either club is all that but at least know what teams you are playing.

You are one dumb mother f'er. First, the event only had two age groups that would even be ecnl aged, U13 and U15. Second, as stated above neither had their ECNL teams in it. FSA had ECLR, their B teams and and their state teams (C Teams). CFC had CFC North, a branch team. That's it.

Next time check your facts since it's all available online for anyone to fact check you

Looks like most of the FSA teams that did play won their groups....so what are you saying? The 09 pre ecnl and 08 ECNL played and won all 3 games

Pre ecnl isn't really "a thing" and for CFC it's a branch team, just tlike their U13 ECNL team is a branch team (and that team wasn't there). The claim was made FSA and CFC ECNL teams lost when in fact only the FSA 08 ECNL girls played - they beat up on Cheshire, Chelsea Piers and CFC North. Woot woot? Literal smack downs. That doesn't do anyone any good on either side of the field.
