Truth is- the complaint comes when players are not doing the above and speculate any knock toward their kid is because coach’s son is on the team. Grow up! It’s still youth sports - premier or not. Is MLS calling your house- college offers coming in every day?

Just stop! Since you are making assumptions- let me make one too. You want without the willingness to put in the work- the grind. Little Bobby wants to play because he’s ‘entitled to’. That’s on you!
Talk to ZS, EF, EB, CC ….. mom and dad coaches who rained glory onto their mediocre kids at playing players expense.

Sounds like someone who airs a personal issue anonymously on a public forum is the one who needs to get out more. More importantly, someone who gripes about his u-little not having the same opportunity for PKs and free kicks is more of the issue. Sounds like you need to get out more and have a healthy dose of reality.

Um you realize this is an anonymous forum right? And that you don't know who posts which responses? No one is jealous of one iota of a Valley team. Many here will also attest that parent coaches are rarely objective with their kids.

KX absolutely favors his boys and there have been much better players on their teams. My son was not as good as his but there were plenty of better boys than his. Obviously, he wants them to get as many touches as possible so they played more than the better kids. That’s not right for club soccer. All he cares about is trying to turn one of his boys into to the next Messi. It’s why he is at Valley, free soccer. Once they are older he’s gone.

This is all just hilarious- from parents who think they know it all to people who honestly think that any of this doesn’t happen at every club. Get over yourself folks. Youth soccer is a business.

Happens at every club and in real life without soccer - WAH! You can only manage what you can control. Truth.

Not the poster but no club should hire parent coaches unless they're just as qualified as anyone we. Even in those instances they shouldn't be coaching their own kid. It isn't worth the headaches from other families and it's rare that a parent coach doesn't favor their own kid and their friends.
We have a parent coach, treats his daughter fairly and we play all the time. Probably twice as much as anyone else. That's the advantage I think

It can work with the right person, but that right person at best comes along 1 in 5 times.

Why does everyone always talk sh**t about his kids, leave the kids out of this they do nothing wrong, any coach who coaches a family member always has an easy target...pick some different 🎯

You are talking about a coach who coaches U-12??? Are you serious???? The fact that you have this much spare time or concern in your life for 9v9 Soccer is incredible.

Must suck for you to always be looking over your shoulder
