If what you’re saying is true that’s terrible Would be great to get out of GA, the competition in EDP D1 was better.

To be fair GA landed some top clubs but if/when those top clubs get in ECNL, at that point GA’s best remaining clubs nationally - best - would only be middle of the pack in ECNL. In the Northeast GA would be EDP with better showcases ... maybe.

Are you an idiot? Many of the too clubs they landed fled GA before the first year was even over. All the rest except for two (Tophat and NEFC) left after the 2nd year and both of those clubs have been rumored to be beating down ECNLs door To get in. It appears in Georgias forums that parents at tophat even started a petition to the club at the beginning of this year.

Beach, Legends, Pats & West Coast (all in CA) are in ECNL-R this year and are at the front of the line. Top Hat & FCV would be the next two to keep an eye on.

I don’t think there will be further expansion in the north east, but if there was I’d think NEFC would have the best shot.

FCV will get in the NA conference so they have an even number of teams in the Baltimore/DC market.

You can guess and estimate all you want just wish we would take the initiative and get out of GA before it folds or becomes a highly watered down product. Would even take ECRL at this point.

Too late. It started as too watered down and gdap and has only gotten worse as they replaced the it decent teams they had that left with whatever was left outside if gdap and ECNL .... Thebpickibg were terrible when gdap started and they are into 4th and 5th tier teams. If you would settle for ecrl it shows just how bad ga really is.

Are you kidding me? ECRL is a joke. Even the 'top' ECRL teams are not very good. And GA is likely (at best) even with ECRL. For what is supposed to be a national platform, that is pathetic.

Second that, hugely underwhelming if not disappointing so far on the GA front. Not familiar with ECRL level though, is it as poor as GA? I though that league was supposed to be top in the country no?

ECNL is the top league .... ECRL is for all of the stupid people that want a sleeve patch that cant make ECNL and still want 'Elite' in their league's name ..... its foolish .... I would call it ECNLs B teams, but most strong kids that didnt make ECNL are not falling for ECRL and play elsewhere.

Correct lots of overrated clubs like PDA in ECNL if they played in GAL these clubs would be way below average.

"Former DA teams" which were mostly former NPL and premier teams ..... Which also formerly sucked but are now some mythical status because they played in another firmey bad league that ussf sponsored. Give us a break. Gdap failed because it was bad from the get go and GA is so much worse.

Amazing how these leagues try to reinvent themselves and honestly in this case GA is much worse in terms of overall quality than the former DA. How people don’t see that I don’t know. Perhaps we’re the ones missing something.

At least GAL had games and practices this fall - our team had one scrimmage and minimal practices. We are paying a whole lot of money and getting a whole lot of nothin!
