Mask wearing has not changed, but masks are not as helpful as we think. Flu comes every winter, and both being respiratory viruses so will Covid-19. Go look at the map. The virus is hitting the highest and most condensed populations the most. Unfortunately, MA is a small state with 7.5 million residents. Our residents overall have done a good job other than about 10 cities.

Do you really think that cases are because of no mask? That is a misnomer. The majority of people wear disposable masks, and covid-19 particles are smaller than the holes in the masks. Stop being ignorant and blaming people when you have no idea what you’re talking about.
Originally posted by Unregistered View PostMasks do work so stop with that (assuming it's a decent mask and people wear it properly). People aren't wearing masks indoors when they're with others socially, either in homes or going out to eat. It got colder so more indoor time, people were back from summer vacations, school back in session (there is some school spread but luckily it's been low), tons of kids had Halloween parties. It often takes time for cases to build to a large enough scale then it takes off like a rocket, exponentially, because on average one infected person infects two more. The long incubation period and asymptomatic spread are big reasons health officials fly blind until it's almost too late.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostThe risks are close sustained contact with an infected person of 15min or longer. A disposable mask is sufficient for running into the store etc because you won't be close to someone for long periods of time. If if you will have close contact for longer your should have a better one or distance alit or both. No one is wearing a mask of any quality in homes or meeting friends for dinner. That's big reason for spreading now.

On Nov 7th, there were 2302 new cases in MA, assuming it takes a few weeks to die with COVID, on Nov 20th there were 34 deaths. That means the death rate in MA is now 1.4%. (https://www.worldometers.info/corona...massachusetts/)
Consider this, during the pandemic, the weekly average number of people diagnosed breast cancers dropped by 46.4%. Are fewer people getting breast cancer? (https://www.breastcancer.org/researc...uring-covid-19)
This lockdown is dangerous, the media is dangerous, Gov. Baker's policies are dangerous! Soccer - not dangerous - let the kids play

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostYou cite breast cancer screenings being down. Is that a result of an ongoing pandemic or a lockdown, because unless your data is from strictly March to June, we haven’t been locked down.
So please keep your lemming government-is-great nonsense to yourself. You have zero clue what you are writing about, except to be the little passive aggressive beta you are.
