Difference is really in expectations. I'd be willing to bet that CFC expected to lose to WC, expected to beat Scorpions. Meanwhile, WC expected to beat both CFC and Scorpions and left disappointed with a draw and my final wager would be that Scorpions expected to lose to WC and acted like a draw was winning the Super Bowl, just so they could say they drew a team that beat Stars.

Huh? Scorpions tied Blue & WC and lost competitive games by 1 goal each to CFC & SUSA. No one with half a brain is going into any of these games expecting to lose. The expectation is it will be a competitive game that could be a W, L or D based upon many variables.

Last three times Scorps and Blue played games were 1-0, 0-1 and 1-1. No one expects automatic wins or losses in any of these games. It’s not Oakwood and Syracuse or whatever other town teams you play.

Then the players should move. You will get more eyeballs in champions league than on Stars white. If you are looking for something more than D3, especially at this age, eyeballs are important.

Nope. Im saying that if Stars (white) and Scorps are so good they should move to a GA club to get noticed. Nobody is going to showcase games for the mid to lower level of ECNL. Say what you want, but coaches are showing up for GA champions league.

Can we put all this foolishness to bed? Not every girl (including some on Stars Blue) is going to end up at their dream school. Something tells me every single one that wants to continue her career in college will have that opportunity. I see the lists of commits from NEFC, Scorpions, and Stars White - they all seem to be doing just fine. The constant weewee measuring using your kids’ soccer success as a proxy is pathetic. If little Stars White Sally and Scorpions Suzie end up at a college they are happy with, do you think they care about all those eyeballs at Champions league? It’s irrelevant. Just like NEFC Nancy could not care less that ECNL showcases draw eyeballs. They’ll all be just fine.

leave a stronger league for a weaker one?

The players will be fine. So will the clubs. GAL exposure is very good, ECNL is somewhat better. There's literally hundreds of D1, D2 and D3 programs, but only 50 top D1 programs. Few players are top D1 prospects. There's plenty of opportunities for all the other programs and players to find a fit.
