Originally posted by Unregistered View PostThere are 5 girls from PDA Blue that are committed to Rutgers. They are all starters and play most of the game. There is good and bad. As long as you are walking in with your eyes open you’ll be fine.

These PDA players came to this club because it’s one of the top clubs in the country. It plays in the top league and has the most competitive teams. There are no promises made to these players or obligation that if you play at PDA that you automatically have a spot at Rutgers. You have parents who have convinced themselves and keep mentioning on these pages that there is a deal. That is just not true. There are hundreds of players at PDA who do not have a clear path to any college other than having the opportunity to getting identified at ECNL events as well as attend college camps and clinics. Those players who committed to Rutgers had other offers from other college and chose to accept Rutgers. As I stated above, that decision has many factors involved. There are PDA players who accepted other offers for those same reasons. The final decision is a personal decision for the player and her family. There was never any pressure by PDA to choose Rutgers and that I know for sure.

How long before enough talent comes to another club, that sees Blue twice a year, starts putting up fights with them? We played Blue twice and lost but neither looked impressive. The fabled might of Blue during our second game actually looked beatable. We expected this high pressure highly skilled force and they were a bunch of little girls not much better then our own.
