Can we assume that CSA Bergen will keep most of the team together going into U11/9v9? That is a strong group.

Yes, untill the boys realize that MF Shore is a better option. Then, say goodbye to the team.

        9v9

It will be interesting b/c at the 2011 age group they have 3 teams, one 9v9, 2 7v7.
They will need to fill out two 9v9 rosters so it's not clear how they re shuffle and if they
plan on playing one group up still.

Truth on the loss to the Red Bulls, 2pks and up 2-0 at one point. Lots of opinions on the PK's/calls in the game, but a well played match by both sides.

This is true. More so the youth teams for the MLS academies, Red Bulls and Philadelphia Union.

However, once they go up to HS some top kids may not want to play in the MLS because they want to play high school.

If you look at youthsoccerrankings.com the top 10 teams for NJ will be a mixture of MLS Next, ECNL, and USYS Premier 1.

Let’s be honest... CSA Bergen 2 got smoked by ASJE 5-2 and that’s with half of the team being 2012s playing up! Let’s be honest and realistic, after the A team the rest of the CSA Bergen 2 & 3 just help pay the bills LMAO

CSA Bergen 2 didn't play their strongest squad they were missing several players. Maybe the coach wants to develop the weaker players and give them a chance to play. AS hasn't won many games this season the trashing by the Red Bulls is an indicator of their depth. Morris Elite is another club that isn't doing well. I assume AS and Morris Elite will play in the Premier II or III bracket since they just don't have the squad to compete at the highest level. STA is another that doesn't seem like it will be able to hang.

AS hasnt won many games? the are 2-3. The entire north division is similar wins/losses other than Football Academy and Red Bull who are a clear step above, and Morris is a clear step below.

                  10 pts - Football Academy - 3 W - 1 D - 0 L
                  10 pts - Red Bull - 3 W - 1 D - 0 L
                  9 pts - STA - 3 W - 0 D - 2 L
                  7 pts - Liverpool - 2 W - 1 D - 2 L
                  6 pts - AS Junior - 2 W - 0 D - 3L
                  6 pts - CSA Bergen - 2 W - 0 D - 3 L
                  4 pts - PDA Puyol - 1 W - 1 D - 2 L
                  0 pts - Morris Elite - 0 W - 0 D - 4 L

Looks like every team including Liverpool and below will be relegated next season from Premier I 🤣

Outside of Morris that is a great flight. It looks like games can go eaither way.
Inetresting to see what EDP does with the top 2 premier flights Fall 2021. Maybe CSA Pre Academy, Union Selecao, Valencia, Match Fit Howard are all "coming back" to the age group, and SJEB Red has to decide to continue to beat up on on a weak EDP south blue group, join PRCL or bite the bullet and play central or northern teams.

You are taking this way out of context. First of all this year is a mess, teams have to shut down completely for 10 days just for playing against a team with a +. Too many moving parts to take the standings literally this year. For example Liverpool is shut down and I think PDA is too. Now CSA gets to play PDA 1 day after a layoff...lucky you. Now if CSA beat them 5-1 does it mean CSA is better? Probably not. It’s all about timing.

Half of these teams won’t be playing next year anyway. CSA and union won’t be allowed to play up. Liverpool will be in midst of dismantling and AS junior and ME will be gone from the group.

                          Liverpool Dismantling ?
PDA Plays well but they don’t have kids that can be dangerous when they have a chance to score. As a team they play very well.

I would hope that AS juniors first and only team beats CSA 3rd team. They are a decent team that moves the ball well. But they have no chance against the top side of Bergens second team. And they have no chance in 9 v9 because they only have a few 2011 kids and none of them are stand outs.

I think the point is that starting next year you will have teams that will be adding quality players and teams that will be losing quality players. The teams that only compete in EDP like a Liverpool will certainly exist, but will not be a top club. A team like STA will add quality players as they compete in ECNL or a TSF who is on nobody’s list now but compete in MLS next. In a few short years these teams emerge as the top teams and the EDP only teams fall into the background as HS equivalent teams.

                                True?

I'm new to youth soccer, can someone outline the age groups where things change and how they change? IE, what happens to the CSA team when they go to 9v9, 11v11? The MLS league is the top boys league I think, correct?
