Regardless of what you think of SC the NECSL is about to double in size. Big clubs and smaller clubs will be playing USYSA this fall. NEP will become to new Maple / MASC

Serious question. What are the requirements for necsl? What if a couple mom or dad coaches have one team that they would like to register, is that possible?

Are you afraid that a mom and pop team is going to come in and make a mockery out of your little Mia and Leo, or expose your big “elite” club as being a fraud.

That was the point. The ones trying to keep the small clubs out of certain leagues, are scared of being exposed. They have vested financial interests, and must keep up the appearance that you must pay a lot to have a good soccer experience.

The small clubs will play in lower tiers against 2nd or 3rd teams from the bigger clubs. No one is worried about being ‘exposed’.

And Valeo never cared about the girls side to begin with.

Exactly. The truth is that leagues like the NEP/NPL were initially formed because clubs with professional coaches were getting their asses kicked by little clubs with volunteer coaches back in the MAPLE days.

Both leagues were formed for $$$ & to try and control MA club soccer.

Theo calling every other club “GPS” is a joke. He would have been lucky to be part of an organization as strong as GPS in its day, but he never was. Theo is a complete tool. His failures are massive — second only to his mentor, Des. Both are irrelevant on a good day, but they don’t have many good days. They are too busy destroying what little is left of that dumpster fire they call Abbey Villa. Labeling them “Losers” is far too kind. They have maybe 20 bang average players remaining and they call themselves a club. In terms of numbers and talent, they are the equivalent of a small, crappy town program in the middle of nowhere. Pathetic!

Any decent players he has eventually get fed up and move on. Happens year after year.
