    8/50 players not bad!

Off the top of my head
Our club doesn’t report either. 48 D1 scholarships. 18 to Ivy. 30 to Power 5.

A coach receiving 800+ emails from players inviting them to attend their games at a showcase isn't going to research every single club team from those players. The teams have already, in theory, been vetted by being accepted at the showcase, so the coach has an idea of the level of teams playing there.

Playing in the bracket against bottom of the league teams is akin to a participation trophy that comes with the badge. The coaches KNOW the level of teams playing there.

College coaches scout and recruit players, not teams. So if there is a player they are interested in, they will attend their game regardless of what bracket the team is playing in. It is up to the player and the coach to get the coach interested in them, but it has nothing to do with the team's league record.

hence the 5:1 ratio of coaches at showcase games for top teams vs bottom teams.

Yes, but if they have to prioritize their time (which most do) guess which ones get eliminated first? Some programs bring their whole staff and send the junior coaches to other games while the head coach watches the top prospects. when that happens yes a lower bracketed players might get on the list for further correspondence, but now they still have to get in front of the head coach and rise above all the other players

There are 42 players on the two U18/19. 14 of those kids are 2022. Of the 28 21s. 16 Are playing in College. The 2022s are a huge group at MFA and recruiting has been tough because of Covid and the NCAAs blanket extra year. All good.

True. But in either case, I doubt any of these coaches would know or care about a team's W/L record and conference standings.

W/L records not so much it does help if you come from a quality club with a good coach with a strong reputation amongst coaches. When they come to watch you play at an event or game they don't care about the outcome, but want to see how you handle yourself in the game - even better if it's against a good team and you do well

Most MF players quit by U17, because the prospects suck and the training on a 1/4 of a field 2x a week is horrible, correct?
