    Depends. Sometimes the club has a list and while they may want your kid, they have a long enough list that they can deal with losing a player here and there. It is all about the level of demand at that specific club. For example, PDA can force decisions much faster than Nysc can, because they have hundreds of players who want in compared to handfuls.

      If they wont hold a spot for you kid, then they do not have a lot of faith in his/her ability and they are trying to get you for a check, not the talent ... any other schlub that can pay is a suitable replacement. If they loved how your kid played, they would say, let us know whenever you figure it out.

          Not necessarily - some clubs have enough demand and can lock in their rosters with several players that are very interchangeable.
