Connetquot, Ronkonkoma, and Bohemia merged. Somewhere around 25 teams with a few playing EDP. Now they are a mid-sized club instead of three small ones. Maybe they won't lose so many players to the clubs next door anymore.

Where the heck is Susa? No one can find that on a map either unless they play there. And so what. These are kids youth soccer clubs..not interesting unless your kid plays there as it should be.

Yep, we need more posts about SB, KK and LGn, bc they are sooooooo relevant. If we were only going to talk about relevant teams we'd only talk about SUSA, Barca, MO, GBW adn NYCFC on the boys side and Susa, EM and LISC on the soon to be lesbian side.....

It's main use is a landing ground for those players and teams from neighboring clubs that don't want to be forced to pay thousands of dollars a year to play soccer.

how many of these teams use a paid trainer? so really whats the difference? thousands dollars for a pro trainer for your town team or thousands at an academy?

answer is there is no difference, find the right team where your kid will be happy playing.

Around half don't use trainers at all. The other half mostly pays for one, maybe two practices a week, at a fraction of the cost of what the academy teams cost. Between $20 and $30 a head a month covers the costs.

The #1 team in the club, the Real FC, are currently ranked #9 in the nation in gotsoccer for 2005 and they don't spend a dime on trainers.

So funny, how someone from the so called new Connetquot club posted this to try to get attention. So lets tell the truth. Bohemia gave about 5 teams, none that good. Ronkonkoma gave a little bit more with most using trainers and their best teams coming from brentwood. Oh, the Connetquot part, hmmm mention 2 good teams, ? cant. So basically you took one tiny club and merged two mediums size clubs to get one larger , but still not very good club.

what ever, its really not worth having a discussion about. Connetquot is the worst HS soccer team on LI. If we were talking about clubs merging in the brentwood area perhaps it would be worth a post or two.
