The Freefall for Coach Danny Bolam and the Metrowest region- sad how quickly this has occurred, it was not a matter of if, just when the lack of any real talent showed up in actual competition

That fell flat on its face- line Coach Bolam and his 2008 biys metrowest team up across the pitch from real competition for once this year and they get trounced- You could have put a better Tourney Stat line up there gathering up a group of boys off of a pitch in South Boston or Chelsea or East Bostom and they would have played better against yhe competition in this Finals Tourney in Colorado. Coach Bolam was outcoached from the moment the beginning whistle blew to the final whistle, 3 dismal days later.

Not much left to say, but that the Continued demise of the NEFC Metrowest Region Soccer program continues unabated as the horrid Coaching talent (Danny Bolam and Tim Hallet) and Lack of any Technical expertise was on Full Display in the State of Colorado this past weekend.

NEFC parents- you can't say you were not warned. This once strong club at NEFC is a shell of itself- the lack of any good to adequate Coaching is readily apparent. Don't kid yourself- this NEFC Metrowest Region is as bad a trainwreck as this disasterous National Tourney leads you to believe. The best coaches have left, the best players have left the club, the NEFC regions continue to leave.... The new regional director of NEFC metrowest is a 30 yeat old marketing and advertising whiz kid who obviously can not make the correct assessments of coaching talent in his region (metrowest). Old Director Tim Hallet was fired as Director of Metrowest Region two weeks prior to this seasons team recruitment and id sessions (june 2021) and demoted to now only to a Coach in Metrowest Region- Danny Bolam is now the New Coach of the Second tier (team 3) of the ECNL-Regional team (he is the Coach that got Outcoached on the pitch and off) and his team obviously showed the poor coaching quality by getting beat down in every match of this tourney to the tune of 14 Goals Scored Against- 2 Goals scored

Just sad how quickly the wheels have fallen off this Club and this region of the club.
Yet, based upon the Logic and most recent example set by NEFC Metrowest- MB will be demoted as Regional Director- Danny Bolam will become the new, shinier and even better Regional Director and Tim Hallet will again be fired and demoted to coach of some other metrowest region team

A difficult showing and looks as if NEFC Metrowest 2008 boys were not as good as they thought they were. This is what usually occurs when a team plays average to below average talent all season long and then they have to play real competition.
The coaching withers and the tactical strategy is non-existent and the team is run off the field in all three matches.

The poor showing in the National Tournament is just another quality example of just how far the NEFC Club and the Metrowest region specifically has fallen in the past 2-3 years.

Sorry, when we as parents, invest in the club and pay their salaries and then have to pay AGAIN for the Travel Expenses and Flights and then this Specific coach, Danny Bolam is run circles around by ALL 3 coaches and teams we competed against, I as a parentz have a right to call these bozos Bolam and Hallett to the carpet for the Bullsh!te game strategy put on display this past weekend.

This is NOT town soccer Homey. So keep your "It's okay, it was a great experience our children will treasure for their entire lives. That is horsesh!te.

NEFC as a region- Metrowest and as a Club has turned into a literal clustrrfu$k of a program.
It is no surprise they were coached and played so poorly
They were outmatched in coaching from the sidelines as well as the play of the field.
Just a really bad experience for many of the players and their families.

Coach DB should go and a new coach with a little more experience should be hired by the new regional director. Fresh ideas., new coaching and training concepts and a coach with a better ability to assess player talent and development is required at this point.

An Honest View from within- NEFC Metrowest

Looks like the disaster continues for the NEFC Metrowest Region- 2008 Boys in Colorado

The Freefall for Coach Danny Bolam and the Metrowest region- sad how quickly this has occurred, it was not a matter of if, just when the lack of any real talent showed up in actual competition

These actual game statistics just show how weak the NEFC team really is- all year long they played very poor competition, beat up on other weaker NEFC Regional teams and somehow were crowned champs of Massachusetts (a joke in and of itself)

The 2008 Metrowest Boys go out to Colorado and play real national competitiom and got their hats handed to them by all three teams played.

Sorry, all you NEFC parents that stated that Gotsoccer rankings don't matter (wrong)
The Competition NEFC 2008 metrowest boys played all year was far superior than any other club in any other league- thus we are really the #1 team and our incredible talent will shine through when we play real competition- Nope. That fell flat on its face- line Coach Bolam and his 2008 biys metrowest team up across the pitch from real competition for once this year and they get trounced- You could have put a better Tourney Stat line up there gathering up a group of boys off of a pitch in South Boston or Chelsea or East Bostom and they would have played better against yhe competition in this Finals Tourney in Colorado. Coach Bolam was outcoached from the moment the beginning whistle blew to the final whistle, 3 dismal days later.

Not much left to say, but that the Continued demise of the NEFC Metrowest Region Soccer program continues unabated as the horrid Coaching talent (Danny Bolam and Tim Hallet) and Lack of any Technical expertise was on Full Display in the State of Colorado this past weekend.

NEFC parents- you can't say you were not warned. This once strong club at NEFC is a shell of itself- the lack of any good to adequate Coaching is readily apparent. Don't kid yourself- this NEFC Metrowest Region is as bad a trainwreck as this disasterous National Tourney leads you to believe. The best coaches have left, the best players have left the club, the NEFC regions continue to leave.... The new regional director of NEFC metrowest is a 30 yeat old marketing and advertising whiz kid who obviously can not make the correct assessments of coaching talent in his region (metrowest). Old Director Tim Hallet was fired as Director of Metrowest Region two weeks prior to this seasons team recruitment and id sessions (june 2021) and demoted to now only to a Coach in Metrowest Region- Danny Bolam is now the New Coach of the Second tier (team 3) of the ECNL-Regional team (he is the Coach that got Outcoached on the pitch and off) and his team obviously showed the poor coaching quality by getting beat down in every match of this tourney to the tune of 14 Goals Scored Against- 2 Goals scored

Just sad how quickly the wheels have fallen off this Club and this region of the club.
Yet, based upon the Logic and most recent example set by NEFC Metrowest- MB will be demoted as Regional Director- Danny Bolam will become the new, shinier and even better Regional Director and Tim Hallet will again be fired and demoted to coach of some other metrowest region team


Good luck this season NEFC Metrowest Region Boys Parents- you were warned
It's going to be quite an interesting year to watch the continued implosion of this Club from afar.

NEFC as a region- Metrowest and as a Club has turned into a literal clustrrfu$k of a program.
It is no surprise they were coached and played so poorly
They were outmatched in coaching from the sidelines as well as the play of the field.
Just a really bad experience for many of the players and their families.

Coach DB should go and a new coach with a little more experience should be hired by the new regional director. Fresh ideas., new coaching and training concepts and a coach with a better ability to assess player talent and development is required at this point.
