Second year in a row PDA fails to win any major trophies. Last time they won a bunch was when they rejected GDA to run away from competition.

What’s next? Will the PDA Blue teams switch to GAL to prove they could be competitive? Or they afraid of top hat and SSS???

So how did your club fare at the ECNL playoffs and finals? Last time I checked PDA still had the largest presence from the Northeast across all age groups at these events.

Our PDA team was eliminated. Couldn’t believe the coaches canceled so many practices and didn’t even have a pre-game analysis of the team that killed us. Kids really disappointed. But we got our participation trophies and saw coaches.

They rigged ECNL system. MO plays 5 easy games and goes to nationals.

NH is recruiting players and cutting players to make room. Churn and burn.

No one is afraid of those GDA clubs - they've lost too much talent and the talent they have doesn't get challenged enough any longer playing so many other weak clubs. As discussed on another thread the West Coast tends to dominate nationals - better clubs, more talent, better weather. It isn't just a PDA thing but east coast in general. But every one of their Blue teams finish 1st or 2nd in their brackets so it's still better than what else is out there. They get kids recruited, so do other clubs. Chose what is the best fir for your kid and stop worrying about all the other noise.
