Even if it works for most families they don't appreciate the switcheroo, more so the team left playing the supposedly weaker group.
Regardless this is all rumor and it started on another board no less. TS has loads of rumors that never pan out. Such a move needs to make sense in the bigger picture of the league, not just because one club wants it.

Oh God nobody cares.

PDA White finished in the bottom half of their tables in every age group except 3 (including their RL teams) in the New England Conference (that's only 3 of 14 teams). Meanwhile, PDA North finished first place in every age group except 4 (including their RL teams), with those 4 coming in 2nd in 3 of them and 3rd in 1 (out of 14 teams). Regardless of whether the families appreciated it or not, maybe PDA looking to balance the competition for their teams more appropriately. So whether families appreciate it or not, PDA has very good reason for re-organizing which team plays in which division.
The move absolutely makes sense. Most people thought it made no sense to put Blue in North Atlantic when the divisions were first defined and accused PDA of trying to ensure Blue would win in order to get higher seeding at the National Playoffs.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostThank you - divisions should be based on geography, what works best for the league or clubs and families, not the "quality of competition" which quite frankly will vary enormously team to team.
