Outside looking in. We played all three clubs on the girls side at a younger age.

    Objective Ranking of those teams

1 - Toss up between Flames and FP. Both really good, talented teams.
3 - TBU had some talent but cried every time players were touched and floppers. That was taught not natural. Really sad to see at this age.

TBU never played Flames so until that game happens comparisons shouldn't be made. As far as who TBU played they played both FP and Sunrise towards the end of the season. Against FP, TBU held them to one goal and if you want to talk about flopping and such being taught, at least our coach doesn't high five kids over players that are hurt and on the ground. FP isn't as strong as they were before and TBU has caught up to them. TBU beat Sunrise in the last game of the season, so that settles that debate. One of the TBU teams won majority of there games in the second half of the season, only losing 4. This upcoming year will be fun to watch but everything will change when they start playing 11v11, that's when the comparisons should start, not at 9v9.

Florida Premier has surpassed Sunrise as the club that teaches the dirtiest style of play.

2010 is a very talented age group in Tampa Bay from what I can gather and have personally seen. Like the post above said, the real test comes at 11v11. TBU's 1-0 loss in the last minute to FP and win over Sunrise to end the season says a lot about the teams development. Not sure about the statement that FP players went to WFF. Regardless, looks like Tampa Bay will have some dominant teams at U13!

Sting and Prime in the South and Flames, FP in the north and Cape Coral in the west will be the dominant teams for this age group. TBU will be good as well, as girls are jockeying for a position for the following ECNL year.

The three girls that left WFF said their new team is going to be the best locally. TBU has once proved that the best will always be here. We become relevant when it counts. We took WFF’s best three and next year we take the best from FP. Just like the 2005’s and 2007’s we know the 10’s are very talented and we will give them the best platform to showcase their talents. Remember the coach(s) and parents all know it and we will take them to them there. Thank you WFF and next year FP for training these girls.

My 2010 team that is way down in the rankings will be at Disney Thanksgiving weekend. Bring all of your teams and let's settle this on the field.

Were the three that left WFF for TBU top players, middle of the pack or lower end on their team last season? Serious question....

TBU has significantly beefed up their ECNL coaching staff with the arrival of Coach Guthrie from Colorado Real.
