Tuned in last night to watch the us women’s national team play last night and watched 3 CT former CFC players on the big stage. Was looking for some FSA players. I didn’t see any, but there may have been one I missed in the stands.

Not really that hard dude.
The top two drove right past FSDA twice a week when they went to CFC practice.
The last one was Fairfield county...drove past yankee on the way to CFC practice

Good for them for making a national team. I do wonder about comparability and how many kids from small island counties even went through FSA or other clubs. Heck half the coaches cruising this board could have made Carrie an teams in their day. The key being you have to be actually from there or be a grandchild. Not sure this is as big as deal as you think it is, but all the same good for them for making the team.

The Jamaican national team is full of good players but they do not have the money to train together the way the USWNT does. Our team is bankrolled by US Soccer, Nike, Gatorade, etc and they get flown around, playing on tours. Small Caribbean island nations cant dream of competing with that even though they probably have some players who could have been in contention for the USWNT. In reality, our US team isnt even the very best selection. Their contract as salaried players and the sponsorship agreements in place actually incentivize management to maintain a roster with the fewest changes possible.
