This is on his SB soccer website-
Upon finishing high school, Badr was highly scouted by many top colleges across the country, decided to forgo college soccer and join FC Porto, a premier Portuguese outfit. Badr helped FC Porto to a 2010/11 Uefa Champions of Europe title. Badr was featured by New York Times Magazine as the Future of American Soccer and was a mainstay with the U.S. National Team from U15, U17, U18, U21, and U23.
This is on wikipedia-
After leaving Porto, failing to see much playing time, Badr went on loan to Egyptian outfit El-Hodood. In 2014, Badr signed with USL Pro side, Oklahoma City Energy. Badr made his first professional appearance on June 7, 2014 in a 1–1 draw against the Charlotte Eagles.
Badr was released by Oklahoma City at the end of the 2014 season and later signed with USL Pro club Colorado Springs Switchbacks on February 2, 2015.[1]
Badr was on the move again in 2016, joining Philadelphia Union's United Soccer League affiliate Bethlehem Steel FC on January 8, 2016.[2] Badr and Bethlehem Steel FC mutually parted ways in September 2016 prior to the end of the season, after making 10 appearances and posting two shutouts.Compare the two. No, he did not help Porto win the UEFA Champions title - he didn't play for them at all. He made 3 appearances for US U20 - hardly a mainstay. He did not play for the Union, but Bethlehem Steel.Team Apps (Gls) Porto 0 (0) → El-Hodood (loan) 0 (0) Oklahoma City Energy 13 (0) Colorado Springs Switchbacks 7 (0) Bethlehem Steel FC 10 (0) United States U20 3 (0
