    Season ending Rivalry

    Say it is so.....

Tomorrow marks the ending weekend in the MLS Next Youth Soccer inaugural season. For those in the NY Metro area, no weekend match amongst non MLS teams is more must watch soccer than New York Soccer Club vs Beachside.

Happens tomorrow all day at Ophir. The age groups to watch are:

2007 (U-14) - edge to NYS, shouldn't be close 2:00 pm kick off
2006 (U-15) - even, who wants it more 4:30 pm kick off
2005 (U-16) - edge to BS, shouldn't be close 2:30 pm kick off
2004 -(U-17) -edge to BS, could be close 12:30 pm kick off
    2003 - (U-18/19) - even - who wants it more 10:00 am kick off

Mickey Kydes style of play vs Christian Gonzales style of play.

    must watch football.

    Split

Always seems like club sports split these rivalries

    5 games
    The winning club wins 3
    The losing club wins 2

pretty close to a draw - that’s my guess

Looking at the standings and scores this sprint, the poster is probably right.

We were at Beachside a few years ago, easy to hate them.
I know people at NYSC, harder to hate them, but not like they are likable either

You forget the infamous youth soccer draw. My guess is that there will be at least 1, possibly 2 draws out of the 5 games. That means that the winning club probably wins 2 games.

You are welcome. Both of these clubs represent everything bad about club soccer to the extent that it is truly a battle for last place.

              Bad parent

Spoken with such disdain, clearly from a parent who has never played the game. Quite common actually for parents to spew anger/hatred, its a mask for their jealousy.

Is that your thing, you troll the pages and spew your anger/disdain for all things that you resent? Perhaps there is some other way to spend your time that would contribute in a more positive way?

Try .... there has to be a better side to you than what you are showing us.

                Match day

Whatever game pairs MK and CG on the same sideline is the game to watch.

The coaches tend to get fired up for these match ups as much as the players.

                Bad calls from refs
                Yellow/red cards
                Coaches unraveling
                Players nearly going at it

The best part of these matches is often everything but the match

Oh, theres some disdain in there but literally everything else you wrote is incorrect. Anyway, which of the two clubs has you on the board?
