Yes you are correct (I have to massage your ego a bit as you don't have the intellect to comprehend simple concepts). England DOES HAVE more players in the EPL than any other single country.
But if you add up ALL players in the EPL, More than 65% of the league is comprised of foreign players. Only 35% of the top English league, in England, is Englishmen.
Which is EXACTLY what I have said all along. So by those numbers, the EPL teams go looking for english talent 35% of the time. And then scout abroad 65% of the time. Pretty sad for a country that thinks their soccer is great. (fun fact: its really not. English soccer is horrible)
The EPL is fantastic however. We all love watching it. But when 65+% of it is made up of NON-Englishmen, of course it will be.
It gets even worse for the big clubs. Some of them have less than 20% English players. It only balances out because the smaller, bottom of the table, teams can't afford it. So 50-60% of their teams are English. The team with the highest number of English players was 64% (25 total players, 16 from England).
The argument is between SA and Europe here not English born players and foreign born players. So what does your handy-dandy statistic say about that? What is the breakdown of that 65% foreign players in EPL?

The stats for SA vs Europe were already covered. Its a world game. And both regions dominate over the rest of the world.
As far as foreign players in the EPL, Its always going to lean England/Europe. Why wouldn't it.
-There are more English players than any single country - as expected.
-There are more western-European players than Eastern-European - as expected.
-And finally, there are more European players than SA players - as expected.
Never an argument there. Again, it just morphed into an EPL soccer thing.
