destroying in what way? is your kid being coached by him? as an outsider looking in, this could be valuable info.

Joe is a really good coach. He does coach my daughter. For what it’s worth, coming from another high level team/program it is night and day with regards to playing style and coaching. Grass in this case has been much greener. But not every club, team or coach is right fit for every player.

He coaches my daughter and we really like him as a coach. Those looking in should not listen to rumors, ask parents on his teams.

Doesn’t matter, they had a disappointing spring, won’t be long before A - he bails to coach his GF’s 2011 kid somewhere or B - parents will get tired of paying for playing time

As a Ukie parent, I have to agree. In our experience, he is very arrogant, he’s a bully and he is dishonest. He doesn’t seem to care at all about developing players, and the Ukies will be better off once he’s gone.

If he doesn’t consider your kid one of the top players, good luck. He’s dismissive and down right rude to parents. It’s been a terrible experience for my kid, and my advice is to stay away. He has no interest in helping girls develop. He just wants to pad his resume and bring in as much $$$ as he can. A scam artist. Proceed with caution.

If talking about JN absolutely correct! Wants girls to not play HS and only play Ukies says certain games practices are “optional” and wants you to pay for extra training with him - if you don’t commit to just playing for Ukies he doesn’t like it and gives your daughter minimal time - doesn’t get back to girls or parents when they text him etc.

Wants girls to not play HS and only play Ukies says certain games practices are “optional” and wants you to pay for extra training with him - if you don’t commit to just playing for Ukies he doesn’t like it and gives your daughter minimal time - doesn’t get back to girls or parents when they text him etc.

not true. He is happy for the girls to play HS, there has only been a few optional paid sessions last winter with him, and these did not impact playing time. Not like some other coaches who adjust playing time according to who goes to their facility, like SB who this thread is about

Sorry previous poster is 100% correct - many families have had the same experience with JN he doesn't want girls to play HS - had "optional" practices that were not really optional, definitely impacts playing time, doesn't gat back to girls/parents, doesn't care about the well-being of the players, has had many leave the club for various reasons, talks out loud about players to other coaches while the players are around and they overhear what he is saying, very immature, rely's on wife's position as assistant coach

Your opinion, and you’ve posted the same thing 17 times…we get it!
Our experience with JN has been great and we like the competitive atmosphere that he’s brought to the girls GA teams. The higher level Ukie girls are much better off than previously at the club.
