Players still have access to ECNL
    Fields are not an issue
    3 trainings a week
Some other teams are more expensive and offer less

So again....whats the downside? If you are a player who wants to have acces to the ECNL platform NPL offers a good opportunity. If you cant make it off the bottom team then you are not an ECNL player. Its that simple
Oh. My. God. This can't be real. This is the club marketing pitch, verbatim, to take kids from their $200 travel teams and hoodwink their dopey parents to pay $3K for one more practice per week. This just grinds my gears.

This is what's killing local programs that are usually perfectly fine for these C/D level kids. And it sucks. F off, FSA.

Wrong! Most of the true premier teams listed are better than their ECRL teams. Let's face it, their A teams are bad, their B teams are absolutely terrible, and their C teams?! Not sure you can use those types of words on TS!

Even in those towns the teams get very watered down when they won’t allow kids to play town and premier.

If FSA is so bad then why are there so many players from other clubs at their tryouts? If those players are so much better why is that FSA doesnt take them?

It's a matter of WHO is showing up and for what teams.

Starting 11 players at any club not matter what level they are or league they play in rarely jump ship. Tryouts are mainly for the occasional travel kid that has potential or a bench player at another club. Any good players that do want to leave are not attending tryouts hoping to get on a team. Those players reach out to the coach directly and get invited to training sessions for the team they are trying to break in to. This happens constantly through out the year, especially during the winter

Was told no West Hartford boys from their A sides tried out this year. FSA coach called it weird. Funny if true.

The West Hartford A isn’t that great. Their boy team couldn’t beat a bad FSA CT team. It’s a decent little travel team though.

I have no skin in this but aren’t there tons of WH travel teams? This makes no sense. Aren’t the u16-19 teams lots of hall/conard kids? I know when my sons played travel, they’d always get destroyed by WH teams... it a big town with lots of kids that feed FSA.
