Clubs like Bolts for example have their top boys teams in MLS next, then USL Academy, then ECNL, then NPL. Their 5th tier teams are in NEP. Same with every other big club. Those 4th and 5th tier teams are comparable to NECSL and Smaller NEP clubs top tier teams. NECSL JAUT HAS MORE CLUBS WITH LOW LEVEL TEAMS AND THATS OKAY. But take it for what it is and don’t try to spin it. That level of play is what’s needed for those clubs in NECSL and clubs like Galway would went over. Clubs like NEFC & Seacoast also needed all those low level teams for their low level teams. Not because the league is great or amazing. That’s marketing. Every league/club says they are the best.

Whoever says NEP isn’t competitive doesn’t understand the club soccer landscape.
Whoever says NECSL is a stronger league competition wise, doesn’t know what they are talking about. NECSL simply has more low level teams and again, that is okay. It’s the model they’re going for and hoping it forces more clubs to jump in. It might work, or NEP & NECSL will just co exist and the caliber of teams in NEP will be stronger while NECSL out grows them in numbers
Why are you giving credit to NEP for the top teams? All the top teams don’t play in NEP as you just stated. The issue with NEP is now zero top teams play there. LL ruined this with her BS implact NPL and doesn’t let everyone in. Soon the boys will have the same thing and only large clubs will be let in, so why would anyone stay in NEP?

NEP just like NECSL are not for top teams so does it really matter? Any and all top teams play in other leagues.

This is literally one league arguing against the other when both leagues are the same. Idiots

The leagues aren't arguing. It's parents wanting to feel they have their kid in the "right" league.

More club directors and coaches are on this than parents.

QUOTE=Unregistered;3027157]This thread is so bad. NEFC parent calling out the girls who are leaving for “poor play,” a bunch of you idiots identifying specific kids (and yeah, it might actually be your own kid, which is just stupid) and the anti- NEFC guy who has posted 1,000 times in the last few days.

Was the 2007 NEFC team that hard for you guys to deal with the last few years that you now have to dance on its grave?[/QUOT

For me listening to NEFC dad day after day, month after month, and year after year was enough for me to jump in and gloat on the demise of NEFC. It feels cathartic after reading hundreds of posts how NEFC is the best team in the country.....

How'd that work out for you NEFC 07's....16th place out of 16 teams in the GA playoffs. Suck on that!
