Bruno, Baysidefc, CSP , GPS, NEFC have all done it.
Surf Superliga Fanboy trying to justify being a total looser.

We have a child that plays for a town team mentioned. And friends on others. With the drop in participation this spring, the players are all from our town and 30 percent playing up two years just to make a full field squad.

You sir. Are an ultimate looser.

Similar in my town. We only have 1 2007 on the boys u14 team. About 50% are 2008s, the rest 2009s and 1 2010. The competition is typically a whole head taller, but our boys still compete and are middle of the standings right now. Several players also play premier for a few different clubs. Superliga for premier players is a great way to stay connected with their local friends. Playing up from 9v9 to 11v11 is a great preparation for next year for the 09s. We love that there are plenty of solid premier players sprinkled in to all the teams we play in superliga.

I know. It's the exact opposite what Fanboy spouts with town teams doing the best they can getting teams together with town players. See it every weekend.
So much higher character for these folks.
Now Surf/Superliga/Fanboy, embarrassment to youth sportsmanship.

I hear Surf spirit wearing Fanboy jersey pops walking through Walmart.

Your teams weren't the ones whom the rules were changed for, but other towns wanted the rule changes for whatever reasons.

Go to your town board and the other towns and have them petition to get the rules changed back.

Until then why complain if those are the rules?
People are doing that and the rules are going to change.

Great! Now because of Spirit-wearing fanboy all kinds of town people are fired up to change the rules! And I just added a shelf for my future trophies that I am guaranteed to win with Pumas! Thanks a lot fanboy for crushing my daughter's only source for easy wins!!

And then all the towns that have an enormous player pool can get back to winning trophies, simply because they have more players, which obviously calculates to better teams for those towns. Yeah, that makes sense. If you don't want competition, that is what REC soccer is for. Everyone gets a trophy there.

That is still a better system than the current fake town team called "Providence" Pumas. At least it spreads around the talent more than one team desperately trying to recruit kids to win trophies.

So the solution to that is to create a made up club of teams that do not practice but just play games? With top players that are from all over the region? With coaches that whenever they see a decent town player that doesn't play club, they try to recruit for their real club (Surf)? Or even worse, get the good club players that play for their team now to switch to Pumas so they can win? This is your solution to the bigger town problem? Give me a break. There are plenty of kids that choose to play for other town programs but they are joining a team mostly made up of kids from that town and nearby towns. Also they are joining a real team that actually practices so that get can get an extra training session or two in. Stop with the fake Pumas Surf! Just enter your teams in Super Liga.

There are more than one Pumas team and they aren’t all Surf. They are NEFC, Surf, Strikers etc...
Not much different than some of the higher rank town teams that are 80% mixed clubs.

Looks like the party is about over for Pumas. Most town clubs have premier players but mostly from that town. The arrogance of some of the parents and the blatant recruiting has gotten everyone's attention at this point. Hey there is always winter.

Surf via Puma are pathetic. What an embarrassment to sportsmanship.

We had a player recently play for puma, could have played for the town team. We are a very intertwined community. Especially in the soccer scene. Very sad, folks go for the shiny apple.
All I can say is. Good luck with the High School team, as stated we are very intertwined.

Harsh. Was it shiny apple or friends from her club team wanting to play together?

                                Pure parent recruiting.
