    SCA a Washington team?

SCA is registering as a WA club to play teams in the PSPL Washington State Cup. How does that work?

    They pay a fee

Just like when Washington Timbers play state cup in Oregon, they pay a fee to OYSA.

As long as you are part of that association and your check doesn't bounce your it.

Looks like they only have a few teams they are competing with. The boys teams are listed as Washington club but the girls team are down as Oregon. Could just be a typo when they registered.

PSPL is equivalent to OYSA 2nd/3rd division. It’s just another recreational league

Actually it would be equivalent to OYSA top division.

              Actually the OP was correct.
I have coached in both OYSA and PSPL. PSPL is painful. Maybe one decent team that could play in the OYSA 2nd division but that’s it.

Since PSPL is in Washington the league follows the Washington high school schedule. This means Oregon players from SCA will have to skip out of high school season to play in the PSPL.

Strange for SCA to play in this league although the level of play fits SCA teams the schedule later will have many conflicts.

I guess the OPL must not be giving SCA enough?

Looks like the BSC/GPS/HSC/OUFC 03 girls team is playing, and not winning, in PSPL also.
Roster is totally depleted and the top players showing on it has already relocated. Looks to be a Medford money grab of “come play with this great team” then “whoops they all quit or left but thanx for the check”.

They are not having tryouts now. Just go train and pay and they will find a place for you. So you can pay thousands of dollars to be in a training group and move from team to team for friendlies.

I am sure they will keep their star players together then throw together groups to "play up" in the local hispanic leagues.

AH HA. So not holding full scale tryouts to multiple age groups is a ploy to take on more players than other clubs who are holding big scale tryouts even for existing players?

Welcome to the SCA bubble. It's really a safe place for development...in Washington.

Never mind we train on the turf of the SDA school at our SCA North American world headquarters near Mall 205. (S.eventh D.ay A.dventist)
