Well, better players to go Red Bulls or NYCFC. There's other options for kids that can't make those teams and want to play HS and don't think MLSN @ BS is worth it. Given the realities of mens' college recruiting is it worth giving up HS to land at Endicott?

Forget the college angle for a moment. What if the kid enjoys players with better players year-round? What if the HS team is poorly run with a bad coach? I think every player needs to do their own assessment of each option and take it from there.

Then great, BS is an option if that's what a player wants. Some do, some don't. But if you really want a challenge then try to make a better quality club than BS.

As a lifelong BS parent who has always weighed the pros and cons of the club with surrounding programs year by year, BS has a totally new problem on their hands they have never EVER had before. The coaching at BS is now at an all time low and the guys they’ve brought in do not remotely compare to what they used to have. The addition of the north program has always been a joke since it’s inception. With Omar running that you expect it to be a joke but MK approving of these guys as coaches is something else. If you know the soccer scene of Fairfield county than you know. On the main programs side you have guys who have come in over the last 2-3 years who are mediocre at best. They don’t replace the quality that BS once had at coaching. This is a major downfall of the club and does not bode well for the future.
