While OYSA might be obnoxious, RCL is arguably worse, with clubs being assigned "territories" and given the right to exclude competing clubs. That's why PSPL/WPL exists.

Of course with the big RCL clubs now being in (B)ECNL, I'm not sure what the point is.

This is so dumb. How many mediocre leagues does it take to saturate a market. Cant be good for the kids, parents or the sport.

There needs to be OYSA premier like there is now and one or two elite clubs that mash all of the star players together from all teams to compete in out of state elite level competition.

New name, same game. The league already existed, and (as already called out) only exists due to the old boys club setting up RCL and freezing out certain clubs. With ECNL and ECNL-R for the larger clubs, RCL and WPL should just burry the hatchet and form 1 league (with divisions/relegation/etc.). Best interest for the kids, but less $ for DOCs and league presidents.
