You Weren't Kidding!
Originally posted by Unregistered View PostHe got poop canned for not being PC enough with some of the current snowflakes on the team/something to do with senior day. Must be some real softies as Dan is the consummate professional and as PC as anyone I know. Doing the right thing isn't as celebrated as it used to be and good people are being lost to the new world order. Sad for the girls who get it since the complainers are graduating. Wonder if karma plays a visit when they apply for that dream job after graduation and the Instagram incidents come to light-:)

Who's Got Your Back?

They see how the world works now and it's a shame.

Don't know what happened, but the lesson is don't hire a friend, unless you're prepared to objectively evaluate performance, and terminate if necessary. Puts you and your friendship in a bad spot. Similar to coaching your own kid, puts you in a bad spot, creating animosity amongst parents and players, particularly if your kid is not deserving.

Hopefully the AD/"friend" can still look in the mirror when he needs to.
You really can't have the players running the asylum as it will never work out well in the end.
PC/Cancel culture is very real and will impact that program for years to come. Did the players who wanted him to continue as coach matter at all?
