ECNL doesn't get you into college - YOU get yourself into college. ECNL is a platform, a stage, that provides you (mostly) better quality competition than most other leagues to improve your skills and get you better prepared for college soccer. You do all the heavy lifting by researching schools and programs, sending coaches your info and video, then performing well if they come to watch you play. Plenty of ECNL players and their families don't seem to get that, at least not at first. You also better start doing your own work outside of practices if you haven't been already. There's no slacking in college.
P.S. don't forget to keep up your grades and prepare for SAT/ACT. A good player with good academics will have a lot of good options
