Throwing blanks at the top teams in their league.
At least East Meadow is somewhat competitive when looking at all the age groups; FSA? Good lord.....Something like 6-45-3 (-ish).
U17 Stars White is the only team above .500.
Obviously it also comes with the caveat that every age group is different: some age groups you may be competitive and others may not. This is no different than any other club.

Stars should stop pretending to be PDA and get real that fielding one team at each age woukd result in actually having a program worthy of national recognition. If they want to be mentioned in the same breath at pda or solar then thats wht they have to do. As of now, its just fast cash.

NEFC all of their teams are very average with an occassional good one
Scorps all of their teams are average to below average
SSS all of their teams are average to below average
What are we all complaining about? It is not like there are better alternatives in the state...

Will be interesting to see how the next 3 years play out. Yes, ECNL is the top competition platform but consumer tastes change all the time. Might more remain content to stay with clubs that they grew up with? I know I know if they want to play D1.....ECNL ECNL ECNL.

In all but one age groups Stars has a team way better than Scorps and then their 2nd Team is equivalent to Scorps ("=" means within 1 win)
18s Blue is atop Table, White = Scorpions
17s White is better, Blue = Scorpions
16s Blue is atop Table, White = Scorpions
15s All below .500, Scorps is king of the nerds
14s White = Scorpions, Blue bottom of table
13s Blue is best, White = Scorpions

#Facts. Stars may be greedy, but their second tier product is an equal or better option that then other ECNL option for families.

According to ECNL Table across all ages (13s to Composite)
https://public.totalglobalsports.com...ce-standings/9
Average Wins: Blue 5.3; White 4.3; Scorp 3.6
Average PPG: Blue 1.9; White 1.3; Scorps 1.2
Average Place: Blue 4.0; White 5.7; Scorps 5.7 (lower better on this one)
More detailed look at Place across division from young to old
Blue: 2, 8, 8, 1, 7, 1, 1
White: 4, 6, 2, 7 ,7, 6, 8
Scorps: 3, 7, 8, 3, 5, 5, 9
So, there is no measure whereby Scorps is "better" than white, and they are a distant second to blue in all categories.
The "story" in these numbers is how Blue ages. Blue is dominating the NE conference in 3 out of oldest 4 years - you know, the years when kids get recruited. As for those 8th place teams at u14 - they will be replaced soon enough as the parents of the good players on other teams smell blood in the water.
