A small sampling of this year's class. Boys isn't much better not even from MLS. Lots of good schools, but few great soccer programs. If the state sent five kids to those top programs it would be an exceptional year. In the end the school is what matters anyway.

Compare those to 2018 and 2019 (current juniors and sophs) tds top 150 You will see some players not getting any time, transferred, or dropped out completely.

Absolutely that happens plenty. Someone used to track the boys commitments lists and by the end of four years not many players were left - quit, transfer, injuries. The importance of loving a school can never be stressed enough.

Last years IVY Champs Brown bearly squeaked by Monmouth at home in the NCAA tournament last year. Duke or Brown? Both academically and athletically I take Duke all year.

Only a certain amount of slots at all schools, per grad year. Keep that in mind. Btw Brown used to be a default ivy. Just saying...

Default ? You mean because you can take every class pass or fail at Brown? Or an easy win soccer wise ? It was a lucky year for them in which everything went their way at Brown. Princeton and Harvard have reloaded.Brown will be lucky to finish 4th this year

Brown had the rep or being an easy admission ivy. I don't know today but that is what was out there.

"Easier" yes. Still not "easy". Brown is cutting several teams post Covid but not soccer.

Brown and Cornell don’t count as Ivy League educations. Duke, Northwestem, Vanderbilt, Georgetown and Stanford are all better educations and experiences.

Better? All of it is subjective. Therefore, there are many other equally good experiences and educations.
NW, Vandy, GT and Stanford are not acc or ivy which is the thread subject.

not the poster but all are excellent schools that a top student athlete can/would get looks from and very well could be in their consideration set along with ACC schools like Duke, UVA, Wake

What is a "current" NT player? The youth teams currently do not exist. Unless you are talking about Full team, in which case why are you here quoting GPAs?

ACC is a big conference. Syracuse is not a step up the soccer ladder. ACC soccer rep is built on 4 schools. UNC,FSU,UVA and Duke.
