It all comes down to talent. Coaching training and certainly the attitudes of the parents are severely overrated. Coaches at this age basically set lineups. And talent wins or loses.

It's less of an issue here in CT because we have a much later Kindergarten start than the rest of the country (most start around 9/1, start of the school year, we're Dec 31). Unfortunately, that ship has sailed...
