Feel free to post where your kid will be playing college soccer, if at all.

How will the total number of commitments for this class compare to previous classes? It has to be down considering the headwinds associated with current college players gaining an extra year of eligibility, 2021’s that took a gap year and the 18-20 month recruiting dead period.

Won't know for certain until this time next year. It will be down for sure, its a matter of magnitude.

I wouldn’t be so sure. There are already 4 commits in April of their junior year. Most other lists for previous classes started in late October of the group’s senior year. We’ll have out first real comparison then.

Class of 2019: April 2019 there were 72 commits listed.

Class of 2021: Currently 87 commits listed.

Perhaps the pandemic effect has been overblown.

Not necessarily. Much of this is self reported or from variable sources so it's going to vary year to year regardless.

Being early is no indicator of where the list will end up at the end

How do the commitments work in the dead period?

Juniors can talk to coaches regardless, they just can't do official visits etc. Juniors in all sports are committing with the dead period. Coaches have to keep recruiting
