I work with a lot of teachers and know a lot of teachers and the actual teachers are pretty much split(even here in deep blue CT)...large numbers disagree with the union positions on many things but leadership ignores it...it is more the university professionals that espouse these crazy socialist beliefs...young teachers come in with these beliefs but many change when they see the reality of urban education and the effects of the welfare state
